To get troublesome joints either you have to be a sports freak or you have to be slightly on the ageing side. It can happen to those too who are injury or accident prone, whatever may be the reason, and you know that you need to go to the doctor. But you are not sure which one, as there are different specialists in the field and you don’t know which one would be apt for you.
A few years back while I was in college I used to love playing basketball and every morning I would be on the court to give a few dodges and goals. Actually we had a match coming up with our rival college and I was practicing hard to give them a hard time. So my team was practicing by playing some matches and here I was trying to give a goal to my team and as soon as I jumped for doing the basket here I was on the floor with my sprained ankle.
I knew I was going to be in a big mess and this was my chance to prove myself but I just couldn’t move my legs and what with the match coming up next week. So we rushed to an orthopedics center and told the orthopedic that is there any way that I can be part of this match and play as soon as possible. I was prepared to hear a no for an answer from him but luck favored me or has technology advanced so much that the doctor told me that in a week you would be giving tough competition to your rivals.
Technological advancements and medical research has made orthopedics departments the most favored place to visit, when you injure yourself while playing any kind of sports or you need to get the joint replacement surgery due to some accident. As we age our joints tend to get weak and it may require total jointreplacement surgery to cure ourselves completely. But with advancement in technology and various specialized techniques the recovery time has reduced drastically.
So now you can figure out that in a week’s time with the right usage of technology and proper care who scored the maximum goals and who won the match.
