Mohali Hospitals – Earning a Reputation in the field of Medicine
Being a marketing executive in a multinational pharmaceutical firm, I used to travel a lot. In fact, this is an inherent part of my job and I love my job very much. During the tenure of 3 years in this company, I not only travelled many foreign locations but also covered many of the Indian cities as well. In this way, I get exposure to different people, different cultures, different languages and many more elements.
Last month, I was on a business tour to Ajitgarh, formerly known as Mohali, in the state of Punjab. My objective was to meet some of the best medical centres in the city to market our products and services. Before leaving for the city, I was having a perception in my mind that it would be a small city with only 3-4 mid-size hospitals. But surprisingly my perception was completely wrong as it is a bit city and being adjacent to Chandigarh, this city has much more things than I thought.
Earlier known as Mohali, I came to known about this city during Cricket matches as the city has a world-level cricket stadium. Along with Chandigarh and Panchkula, Mohali forms a part of the Chandigarh Tricity. The city was earlier a part of the Rupnagar district, and was carved out into a separate district in the recent years.
Now come to the medical facilities available at Mohali hospitals. Being a part of Chandigarh Tricity, .Mohali boasts of some of the world-class hospitals such as Max Hospitals. Today, Mohali is considered as a premier healthcare destination on the world map. Over the past few years, Mohali is equally contribution in the emergence of healthcare panorama in the country.
